About Lime Cordiale
Artist Biography
In ihrer Musik verbinden Lime Cordiale Pop-Rock mit Siebziger-Funk und Soul. Die australische Band wurde 2009 von den Brüdern Oliver (Gitarre, Gesang) und Louis Leimbach (Bass, Gesang) gegründet. Icehouse-Frontmann Iva Davies sah sie bei einem Wettbewerb und entschloss sich, die Band als Mentor zu betreuen und als Vorband zu seiner Icehouse-Tour 2011 auftreten zu lassen. In den nächsten Jahren folgten die EPs Faceless Cat (2012), Falling Up the Stairs (2013) und Road to Paradise (2015), 2017 erschien das Debütalbum Permanent Vacation, das auf Platz 79 der australischen Charts kam. Mit dem zweiten Album 14 Steps to a Better You kam die Band 2020 prompt auf Platz 1.
